Don’t rest on your laurels

Making it happen takes work.

We know the height of summer is a great time to start to relax a little. We want you to make sure that you get some rest, relaxation and even sun! But don’t just take the whole summer off; set yourself up well, and THEN take some time out.

Here’s why: you’ll lose the momentum and as the laws of physics tell us, an object in motion stays in motion, an object at rest takes more effort to get moving again. That puts you in classic feast-famine mode and creates unnecessary stress.

A good system will make for a great summer!

We love helping speakers, authors and coaches to build that momentum and also the behind-the-scenes systemisation that allows you to make things happen, even if you are slowing down for summer. Remember, it just needs to be in motion, not necessarily racing or pacing along. If you’ve not quite got things set up so you can slow it down, make that something you work on next. A little preparation now, will stand you in good stead for the years to come.

Chill out to make more things happen.

The other reason to get set in this way is that the ‘rested’ feeling will bring you ideas that just don’t happen when you are rushing around. Capture everything, because you are at your most creative when relaxed. Give yourself some time outside and make sure you bring a notebook or recording device.

We know most of you have great plans to change the world with your brilliance. That takes work, so let the seasons guide you to make sure you do what’s needed and set up all the automations you need, so you can take time off and come up with more innovative ideas that can make their difference.
